If you’re tired of constantly paying for gas, it’s time to think about a new car. Toyota now makes several different hybrid models to consider, including the plug-in Toyota RAV4 Prime.

Toyota RAV4 Prime

The Toyota RAV4 Prime comes with either a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine, and an electric motor. These combine to produce 302 horsepower. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is standard, as is all-wheel drive. This SUV gets 94 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent), which is great for the class. It can also go up to 42 miles just on electricity. With a 120-volt outlet, you can get yours fully charged in about 12 hours.

Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

There is also another hybrid Toyota RAV4 to think about. This one comes with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine and two electric motors that generate 219 horsepower. It also comes with a CVT and all-wheel drive. For its class, the Toyota RAV4 has excellent gas mileage: 41 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.

Toyota Highlander Hybrid

The Toyota Highlander Hybrid comes with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine, and two electric motors. These combine to produce 243 horsepower. A CVT is standard. Front-wheel drive is also standard, but all-wheel drive is available. For a big SUV, the Toyota Highlander Hybrid offers impressive gas mileage: 36 mpg in the city and 35 MPG on the highway.

Toyota Camry Hybrid

If a sedan is more your speed, consider the Toyota Camry Hybrid. It comes with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine, and an electric motor that offers 208 horsepower. A CVT is standard, as is front-wheel drive. The base trim has great fuel economy: 51 mpg in the city and 53 MPG on the highway.
